This project took well over forty hours to complete. This is also The first game I've ever attempted to make! Every line of code to pixel models and animations were done by me, including all of the artwork and detail work. I spent lots of time on this, and hope to finish this game at some point! I didn't want to not have the chance to enter so sadly it is a little uncompleted and short, but the main idea is there! The main control system is supposed to be this: This Gastrosnap has "lost" owner and yearns to find her. Thing is he, she just went on a walk out to go eat at a picnic with some peace and watch the sun go down. Though, Gastrosnaps are particularly Dog-like, loyal and worrisome creatures, especially this big guy. He goes through levels, searching for her, and collecting candies along the way. I would love to implement a candy- lv up system and some enemies, as well as text and a complex Rpg-style like gameplay with more sophisticated pixels, sprites and tiles, though my time was limited and it all very much depends on the outcome of everything!
