​Hey people! I'm back! I managed finally to gather some money after almost two months and I got a new (used) pc!
I will start working as soon as tomorow and do some grinding for next few days to push out the update as fast I can, I will , as said before, push half of the update since I lost a lot of work. Will finish the things I had finished before pc burned out and post it and continue to re work again what I lost and then progress more.

Hey guy's! I want to write a news update about current state of the game. Right now I'm unable to work on the game or use my pc for past two weeks because my motherboard died on me and i can't get new one until i gather 30euro to purchaser it (that's big amount of money here and i Don't have a job plus covid-19 is killing me). I've been playing on my friends old pc that he don't use right now and my progress is on the broken one which i can't power on or transfer files because his hard disk metal bits that you plug in cable are damaged and could potentially break them and i don't want his pc to break.
Anyways, this is news for now and work will continue as soon as i gather money for a motherboard 13/30 right now. I think i will release update as it is with fixes that i have to finish and finishing remaining quest and eventst without releasing two kingdoms that I've planned for this update.
Also, keep in mind that in next update game name is permanently changed and the game will aslo come to Steam. It's free and always will be. I just need to finisb trailer, finish update and wait 2mandatory week's on steam store. All sites will continue to be updated alongside steam so don't worry.

Almost 2 months have passed since last update and news, so here are some!
As you might notice, the title of the game has changed. As mentioned before in older post, the game will change name in next update.
Q: Why?
A:Well, the title in the past represented the story, there used to be one class and that's all. Now, the core game has changed some two years ago and story is changed too, your main character can be different classes, more open and evolving world.
Next update is coming really soon, I had planed to open two kingdoms, but, random power outage in the city two weeks back while working on the game, corrupted game files and I lost a lot of work and I had to delay for the update after this upcoming one. Those where sad and stressfull times, since I've spent that day some 16hours making quests, events and npc conversation, I've had even finished purchasable house in Etrereburg City Kingdom and that's gone too. That's enough for the sad stuff.
Now for the HAPPY news!
The game is coming to STEAM! Yey!
The game is free to play and always will be. Nothing will change, game changed the name to Dreams Of Adventure that's all. I will keep updating itchio, indiexpo and other sites and keep it up to date alongside with STEAM.
Currently status on STEAM: Making a trailer and having obligatory 2-3weeks on "Coming soon" status, finishing update and with launch the update will come with the launch.
Funding was done 80% thanks to you people and donations to pay the STEAM Direct fee and I wish to say THANK YOU ALL!
There is no need for any donation, unless you want to help out with purchasing new assets and donating to people who made scripts I'm using in game.

Hey guys!
First of all, I want to say thanks to all who supported and donated this past 10 days and helped me to almost reach my goal of putting the game on STEAM. Currently we are at 79$/100$ needed for STEAM Direct and hopefully few more donations will come before the New Year so I can put game on STEAM to the end of January (STEAM requires 30 days waiting time to verify transaction or whatever).
Second. I've been working a lot more on the game since last update (and previous 2-3 months when I had all those issues. I'm working on a new Kingdom to open it up. Etrerburg City Kingdom will probably be out in next update or one after that, depending how much quests and events will take time to work out, since I will have to go back to other areas to to change events depending on players previous choices.
Also, I will be streaming the work on Twitch . If you want to drop by for some reason. I started streaming again after two years or so but casually like before, just to talk with people when I play.
Big NEWS now:
The game will have it's name changed from Forgotten Memories-Secrets of the Past to Dreams of Adventure!
Q: Why?
A: The current title used to represent the story in game, back then I had only one character/class that you could play as a main character. Since I've put updated to have 7-8 classes (there will be few more to come as I work), and changed to core of story and mechanics, I've decided to change the title to represent the change.
Q: Does the title have a hidden meaning?
A: Maybe, maybe not. It's up to you to think or play and judge by yourself.
Q: When will the game change it's name ?
A: Don't know, might be next update or one after that. I will put notice of that in other sites that I have the game on, the links will stay the same.

Hey people! The update is finally out! I took a long time due to various issues, from PC crashing while working and corrupting's my files, being sick for almost three weeks, forgetting to save, pulling USB stick before closing and corrupting to reinstalling PC and forgetting to move folder to other partition and removing it. As you can see a lot happened and it had been delayed a lot. I was glad to see that numbers for past month increased by 137 downloads on three sites together.
Current update was rework of some areas that where more or less placeholders that I had no time to rework. Now it's out with new looks and new events, people, quests, etc. This update should NOT require a fresh start so you can just MOVE SAVE TO NEW VERSION.
I also urge people to send me more information about issues, bugs since only around 60 bugs have been reported since last update (don't know if it's good or bad thing). Also, typos you don't have to bother, in next update I will continue to spellcheck more again.

⦁ Plaguefang The Crazy Horror starting level is now LvL 1 like players. Previous LvL was 5. Since enemies gain LvL's and stats according to player LvL, now the fight should be more balanced. Same goes with Brawlers Guild, few creeps and bosses.
⦁ Fixed Liba Slutskiy when you win to give you option to get gear.
⦁ Removed the test party members in north Eterburg entrance and one in secret area.

New update is coming soon. I wanted to publish it way back about two-three weeks ago, but due my stupidity I lost the progress when I reinstalled PC I forgot to move game to other hard disc...
I worked hard two weeks to catch up back to where I left off. New update should be out around two weeks tops!

⦁ NOTE: It came to attention to me that people didn't know that starting areas for few classes are placeholders. Hope this clears it up.
⦁ NOTE2: You might have to start new game, but still try to copy/paste save file to new build to try to continue if want. But I do suggest to start new game since there is now a difficulty system, few spells, quests and enemies that work properly.
⦁ Reduced amount of game resolutions to pick from.
⦁ Added HUD pictures to status, inventory, equip, spell scenes.
⦁ Did some spell check around the game. There are still a lot of areas to do.

These dire times during 2020 are really annoying. I lost my two jobs because of it so now I'm not doing much work on game like I used to till I find new one. I did burn some work during first two-three weeks of the outbreak and the update will come soon-ish but the work is slowed down compared to what it was.
Having no job is a killer for me and I'm trying to find new one so most of my time is running around trying to get one and is real moral killer.
Here is some notes of what is done for now for the next update:

Also, the next update will have a talent system in it and here are few pics of how it will look like. The talent system is something like a spellbook too so yeah, that's a thing now.

-Added Tutorial Area at start.
-Added characters in main menu instead of faces. This is visualy more pleasing (at least for me). The aligment can be viewed in STATUS.
-Added battle hurt sound for flavor.
-Added System Options.
-Added Level Up window in World.

-Added parameters to increase when leveling up. Also, added some parameters to classes that previous didn't have, like MDF to classes that didn't use magic.
-Added item/weapon/armor rarity. This is to indicate the value of stuff: White=Common Green=Uncommon Blue=Rare Red=Epic Gold=Important/Quest Item (or useable if certain condition are met, like future event that can give better reward if hold onto,instead selling/using/dropping).
-Enhanced LOAD window.
-Enhanced Shop visuals.
-Enhanced look of bars (HP,MP,XP,TP)
-Changed look of DEATH state icon.
-Save file Diary renamed to Diary(SAVE GAME) to make it more clear and removed "use" option from Ink. (Ink is still needed to save game)
-Increased base (lvl1) stats of all classes.
-Defend in battle increases DEF by 80% meaning less dmg from physical attacks.
-Added BRIBE in battle. This let you escape from battle if there is ESCAPE option On. Boss battles can't be escaped or bribed. Costs 100g -for each enemy in battle.
-In world, reduced size of sprites to make it feel bigger.
-When confused, now spells are cast in addition of basic attack.
-Disabled battle spells from world.
-Fixed some states to expire and added icons and timer to them.
-Fixed Thread description to say it will produce "Cloth".
-Fixed Soothing Soul spell so now can be cast by removing the button that prevented it from use.
-Reduced size of all battlers.
-Sorcerer has starter items now and more starter HP.
-Done some basic spell checks. There is a lot of text so it will take time. Took me 20min to spellcheck some 5% of whole damn game.
-Infernal Flame and Ice Sash spells that are learned if found in world, do damage to entire party rather than the Bandit class. Since all can get the book with the new classes.
-Reverted font in game to default. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to post. Will look for new one sometime later.
-Weapons and Armors re balanced.
-Reduced number of action button from 1st lvl spells.
-Reduced cool down on lvl1 spells.

I've sent a fast fix to the game. I had issues that prevent people from entering Woodpine and therefore playing Bandit since he can't pass the area. I suggest to redownload the game you just need to copy the save file inside folder where .exe is. There is also some addition like craftable bags, more places to buy Ink to save and Clemency spell is now fixed.

Hello everyone!
The long awaited update (for those who play and care), is out! It's biggest update yet in the game as far as the techincal side of the development. The biggest change is CORE game play. Where as you played as one character (Thief) and with restricted gameplay, since, it's just that one class, now you will be able to play as 8(!) new ones! Yeah! You can now play with different class! It's the same character (One-Eye Billy), eventually I plan to change to different looks or persons, for now he will stay as placeholder just like tress used to until I placed everything by hand. They all have a starting position and starting quest, future updates will elaborate the starter quests and move starting positions as I work on the world locations.
TL.DR: many things changed with core game play
Update list:
New classes:
- Sellsword - An ex-soldier class that uses all kind of weapons and gear to rip and tear enemies on the battlefield.
- Cultist - A harbinger of the dark forces. Uses various spells to afflict enemies HP and abilities. Can use blood sacrifices (kill friendly party members) to do massive damage and afflictions.
- Paladin - Warrior of Light that strikes his foes with righteous fury. Users both abilities and spells to change the tide of battle.
- ​Ranger - Utilities the nature and the environment to strike fear in enemies, unseen. Various traps and few spells that are learned from the time spent with elves.
- ​Bandit - Always scheming, uses agility to strike their enemies. A bandit don't shy away form using less savoury means to kill their target.
- ​Cleric - Going down path of the Lord, you shy away from violence, but use your abilities to help those in need, while accidents do happen... It's a battle after all.
- ​Sorcerer - Going to the school of Magic, you learn various school of spells to damage your foes from afar.
- ​Commoner - A common peasant.
New starting positions and quests for all classes

Border transition areas - When entering/leaving a country, you will enter a border crossing. They are used to indicate where one country ends and other begins, giving various options for future development (like reputations) or areas not yet finished.
Also, we got first ever support for the game via itch.io ! Someone actually paid 2$ for the game (it's free), which means 98$ left to get the game on STEAM (free to play of course)
Next FEW update plans:
Death Knight class (placeholder) - When you play as a paladin and trigger certain event, you will have option to change the class. It will change entire spell and ability system.

Skill decay - placing more than one same debuff of at time (exmp.: ignite, if you apply new one it stacks and adds more dmg but will not refresh it. )
Ability to let's enemies to take out the boringnes from the default "Attack Anyone" state by making affected battlers perform a random skill from their skill set, instead of just attacking. Just like how "Confusion" should
Inventory sorting
World Map - Map of the continent that will have indicator of castles, borders, cities, capitals, ruins, etc
More choices - Instead of having choice 1 2 3 and in 4 you get "Next" and get another set of 1 2 3 4 (next) you will have it all neat and tidy on one screen.
Item stack size - I never like the fact that you where able to carry 99 of same item. So, i have a script now that will let me split stack size to what I want. Probably 20 per stack will be the cap. This means that you can carry more than 99 of the same thing (if you want for some reason), if you have enough space in inventory.
Death animations for enemies - To make it more life like
Enemies like a boss will have more HP bars - This will make certain enemies to feel like real bad ass and more challenging.
AI improvement - This allows for enemies to use skills. Such as its target not having a certain state or its HP being above a certain percent.
Dismantel item improvement
Shop reputations - Allows the creation of shop clouts with independent client levels. The shops will sell additional items as their associated client level goes up. Reputation are gained by spending money at the shop.
Incrementalist class
Ebrerin Empire will have more locations in future updates
Unique spell animations
Possible separate actor inventory- that will give you more carry weigh
To prevent from having two same classes in party, will change classes of the party members. Example: If you are a ranger, you find Naomi (which is ranger(archer) by default), she will become, bandit (old thief class)). Maybe will leave but have both have different kits. Have to think about it.
(Maybe) Starting with Commoner and by playing you can open class if you find the trainer somewhere in the world. Will still have unique starter quest. This will give option to play as a commoner with few abilities (not spells since they need training and skill).
Reworking quests- Some 40-50% of quests currently are fairly basic and easy to do. Meaning you get to bring back something or craft or kill someone. I will go back and deepen them more
Change class names of party members to differ from player: Player is ranger (because of lore), Naomi is archer (because she's a village girl who used a bow and learned skills, no official training to be ranger and live off land), if people can understand what i mean :D
