Ecstatic Beats is a game made for the annual GAME MAKER ITALIA contest.
It's an incomplete, buggy experimental work that won't ever get fully developed, one last whim before plunging into more serious & profitable projects.
With that said, I like to think that there's value to be found even in incomplete projects, as long as they give us emotions while we're giving them birth.
...Or maybe I'm just romaticizing failure!

Oh, the font used in the game is called Minimum and I really like it-- sorry for making a mess out of it
Oh and water tiles belong to Cave Story, I hope Studio Pixel won't get mad at me for using those...

Giocato! Ma sinceramente... non capisco cosa fare e dove andare. Qual è lo scopo del gioco? Collezionare armi? Mi sono piaciute le meccaniche, ma mi sembra parecchio fatto di fretta e abbozzato. Cioè.. i nemici sono semplicissimi da battere, non si capisce dove andare e perchè... inoltre || la sala con le spade a cosa serve? Sembra lì senza senso ||
